ANDREA & DAN’S DUMBO ENGAGEMENT SESSION | BROOKLYN, NY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Andrea and Dan are both graduates of the CIA (Culinary Institute of America), and that, alone, made it exciting for me to photograph their upcoming NYC wedding in 2013.  =)  Dan is a banquet chef at the legendary River Cafe (absolutely stunning wedding venue) at DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), and thus, that’s where we started their engagement session.  DUMBO is always such a fantastic unique location for weddings, engagements, proposals, fashion, or anything else, due to the modern urban landscapes combined with classic gothic NYC architecture overlooking the gorgeous Manhattan skyline across the river.  Even though Hurricane Sandy hit the area with 13′ of water, the cleanup has been tremendous, and you would have never known the barrage of wind and flooding that struck just days before.  The location along with Andrea and Dan’s supersweet love for each other made this session an complete and utter joy to shoot.  I can’t wait to see you guys again and photograph your wedding in Brooklyn next year!  =D

Impressive. Shot a few pictures over in that area for a proposal. (Of course they were nowhere close to the quality of these).

Awesome! What a happy couple 🙂

These photos are amazing! I was thinking magazine covers but they are too good for that! Great perspectives.
