There’s something to be said, when a couple is just so unquestionably natural in front of the camera. In all seriousness, I cannot remember an easier time when it comes to photography direction than Miquela and Felix’s engagement session at Brooklyn Bridge Park and DUMBO in NYC. I live for photographing couples like these two lovebirds, whose perfect chemistry just shined in front of any and all of the lens I used. Combine that with the most ambitious bokeh panorama I’ve done so far (with 38 stitched images) and my super-wife Chi-Chi as assistant/Joel-sitter, and you get one fantastic day. Truthfully, with the entirety of the week drenched in rain, we were originally worried we would have to reschedule, but fortunately the clouds finally let up Friday, and we were able to capture some incredible skies during the session with the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, and incomparable Manhattan skyline gracing the background! Can’t wait to photograph your wedding later this year!
