Engagement sessions are fantastic opportunities for wedding photographers to get to know their couples. Walking around Locust Grove with Alexis and Randy for two hours, actually felt more like hanging out with friends than anything else. It’s funny, though, how even as a Hudson Valley NY wedding photographer, you can shoot at the same location multiple times and the personalities truly define the space in which you work, as the session becomes all their own. These two happy-go-lucky and super down-to-earth people were just a joy to capture the entire time, and their chemistry was undeniable. Though there is a bit of an age gap between these guys, you would never know it with the incredible way they complement each other. Alexis is actually the sister of Randy’s band’s bassist (they’re legit, previously winners of “Battle of the Bands”) and though parts of their relationship getting to this point have been difficult, those are the times which give it strength. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for these two on their wedding day in the Hudson Valley next year at the Villa Borghese in Wappinger Falls, NY! Enjoy the engagement photos!
