Before their wedding day, I had only previously been in email contact with Amanda and Adam (who actually reside in Washington, DC), so I wasn’t completely sure what to expect, having not met the two face-to-face. After finally getting to know them (on one of the most stressful days of their lives, no less), I couldn’t be happier. As relaxed and jovial as can be, you just knew these lovebirds were meant to be together. With countless flirty looks and smiles at each other throughout the day and night, as well as watching their respective parents completely in lovey-dovey mode, I’m going to make the safe assumption that this couple has an incredibly future together. With such adorable smiles, and blatant chemistry, I didn’t really have to do much to get these two looking their very best. Add in the backdrop of the beautiful Hudson Valley from Amanda’s parents’ very own backyard, catering from the incomparable Main Course from New Paltz, Different Spin providing the soundtrack, and an impromptu remixed father/daughter dance, and all is perfect. Thanks, also, to Haris for second-shooting and once again lending his creative eye as well! And, of course, thank you so much to Amanda and Adam for entrusting me to capture your wedding day, and enjoy the photos!
