Natalia and Matt’s wedding was particularly fun to photograph for me. I mean, how often do you get to revisit the venue where you got married? That’s right… they got married at the Tides Estate (with portraits in Jersey City), where Chi-Chi and I had our wedding reception. And can I just say, that venue is still awesome even as a wedding photographer. The grounds, staff, and food are still top notch, and one of my favorite places in which to photograph weddings in New Jersey, and I’ve seen a lot of places 😉 Funny enough, they even had their engagement at Lambert Castle, where Chi and I had our wedding day portraits taken, lol. Meant to be, or what? Add to the mix a ton of incredibly fun-loving wedding guests, the funniest garter toss I’ve ever witnessed, and a pinch of nostalgia, and this night turned out pretty darn good. Thanks, Yanshu, for the opportunity to reminisce, and taking me along to shoot yet another beautiful NJ wedding!
