Caroline and Justin were the first couple to sign me in 2012, so it’s only fitting that their e-session would be one of the first few as well. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cuter couple than these two. Not even a bit of rain and gloomy weather dampened their obvious affection for each other during their engagement session, and I’m sure you’ll agree after taking a look at their photos! Stevens Institute of Technology was where Justin went to graduate school, so we started on their beautiful campus overlooking the Manhattan skyline, and then moved on to Elysian Park where he asked Caroline to be his wife. It’s such an honor photographing two truly wonderful people. The first thing they did when we met for the e-session was hand me a gift for our future bundle of joy! That should give some insight into how awesome these two are. Can’t wait for your wedding later this year! Also, thanks to Chi-Chi for being my lighting assistant for (possibly) the last time before the baby arrives!
JEN AND ARMANDO’S WEDDING | COLLINGSWOOD, NJ WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Earlier this summer, I was given the opportunity to help second shoot a wedding with Hannah, from Orange Rose Photography, after I met her during little Noah’s newborn session at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie. It’s always a great experience watching how other photographers work, and witnessing the bond between two genuinely cool people- Jen and Armando (Hannah’s post here)! Of course, it was also nice having a mini-vacation in South Jersey/Philadelphia with the wifey too.. I think my breath still smells like cheese steaks. 😉
It was great fun capturing your wedding, guys!! Hope you enjoy the photos, and have a blessed life together!
I love shooting second, as it allows me the freedom of getting the atypical shots…
It was my first time witnessing the foot-washing in a wedding ceremony, at the Oaklyn Baptist Church! So touching… =D
Thanks, Hannah, for bringing me along!! =)
VIKTORIYA + FERNANDO’S WEDDING | NORTH BERGEN, NJ WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Last week it was my great honor photographing Viktoriya and Fernando’s intimate wedding at the Waterside Restaurant in northern New Jersey overlooking the Manhattan skyline! Sometimes, you can just tell when a couple simply deserves to be with each other, and this case was absolutely no exception. Every so often while we were walking from location to location, I had to keep making sure the two were still following me, and not just standing there kissing each other.. Adorable. =) I also love their taste, as their apartment was impeccably styled and had utterly fantastic natural light! Combined with a beautiful couple, it wasn’t hard at all getting wonderful shots. Congrats on your new life together, you two!! And of course, with Pastor Sam Stone, who officiated my own wedding, presiding (plus his son, Clarence and his team manning the video) it was definitely a nice day. A big thanks also to Chi-Chi for being my lovely assistant too. Enjoy the photos!
Pink wedding dress = win.
How amazing is technology? They Skyped to Russia so Viktoriya’s mom could see her on her wedding day! Awesome.
I adore couples that love to have fun in front of the camera!
They were taking a photo of another couple being lovey-dovey!
