It’s always such a breath of fresh air to shoot couples with common interests and beliefs! Walking around with Ella and Newman, I felt like I was just hanging out with old friends, and it just made the time pass so incredibly quickly. That, and perhaps, due to the park ranger letting us know that the grounds were closing in 10 minutes, and we had to get out! Haha, due to a not-so-well-kept website, unfortunately, we had to relocate our session at Cross Estate Gardens, in Bernardsville, NJ to the Olde Mill Inn, which was thankfully only minutes away, and offered a beautiful backdrop for the tail end of our engagement session. That said, the grounds at Cross Estate were absolutely stunning, and we most definitely made spectacular use of our time there! I’m so blessed to know photographer peers like Jonathan Tan, of Dreamlite, who recommended the gorgeous volunteer-run grounds, and graciously referred Ella and Newman to us! The session began, as it typically does, with that adorable awkwardness, but after a while, the joy they bring each other simply could no longer be hidden, and I think the pictures show that quite well =) Please enjoy the engagement photos!
