When Chris and Melissa first contacted us with the idea of having their NYC engagement session location include the Rink at Rockefeller Center, I was absolutely stoked! A Bruins fan from Boston, Chris actually taught Melissa how to ice skate, so we were able to capture gorgeous photos of the both of them gliding gracefully around the rink, and it was such a great time. The staff at Rockefeller Center couldn’t have been more helpful as well, even giving me ice-grips so I wouldn’t fall and obliterate my camera equipment… hah. I even had 5 minutes of alone-time with Melissa and Chris before the zamboni came out to refresh the ice, so we squeezed in some great shots with a lil more focus on these two lovebirds. After we were done there, it was just a blast spending time walking around midtown Manhattan for some metropolitan shots in the area. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again- There’s truly nothing like shooting in New York City, but I honestly do wish I could shoot the wedding in beautiful San Diego with you two… Enjoy the photos!
