I’m going to start this post with something to consider for future brides and grooms who care about their photography- You get what you give. Polly actually dreamed of having her wedding at the Ladies’ Pavillion with snow-covered wintry Central Park as the backdrop. However, after some consideration (and the ever-present possibility of stormy inclement weather in February), they decided against it. This is where engagement sessions can present a wonderful alternative. No pressing for time because you’re running behind a hectic wedding day schedule. No stressing about a million things you planned for and what’s to come during the ceremony/reception. Just you, your beloved, and my team working toward providing you awesome imagery. =) It was freezing cold and wet out. But you know what? That also means there weren’t many others out either, so the snow was largely fresh and untouched. The chilly temperature was also all the more reason for Polly and Josh to cuddle up just that little bit closer. PS- impeccable fashion sense always helps for great photos too (many of which just BEG to be blown up). Oh, and a BIG thanks, as well, to my assistant- Chi-Chi, for being such a brave trooper! February will probably be her very last month, so future lighting assistants? You’ve got big shoes to fill.. heh. Not literally. 😉 Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as I did capturing them! Can’t wait for your wedding day…
This is the Ladies’ Pavillion, where Polly had originally wanted to get married
Of course, the legendary Bow Bridge behind the lovely couple
Very Nice!!!! Good job!
