2020 has most definitely become the year of the, “micro-wedding“. And you know what? That shouldn’t have any negative connotation. Micro-weddings are simply awesome (literally), in the way that you can spend much more time with 20 guests than with 220. Stripping away the fluff, leaves you with what is essentially a short ceremony and dinner party celebrating with those most important to you, and I was honored to be able to photograph Alexandria and Dan’s intimate wedding at the Sear House in Closter, NJ!
It was such a tremendous thrill to be able to document the joining of their two families, without the need for detailed itineraries, 30-person wedding parties, or crazy-long group shots. I was able to just focus on honest photo-journalism, and capturing those subtle emotions and moments I so love. And with these two, that was particularly easy, with their genuinely playful fun side coming out, every time Alexandria and Dan were together. The amenable staff at the Sear House also made the evening easy and carefree, and, obviously, the food was out of this world as well. I have no doubts this is just the beginning of an amazing ride for you both! Enjoy the photos!
