Fun. Goofy. In love. These three ingredients were overflowing for Stephanie and Van’s wedding. Both are SUNY New Paltz alumni just like me, and naturally, photographing such down-to-earth people is always a blast. Especially ones forgoing the obligatory, “smushing cake in the face” shot with the, “stabbing cake knife into heart” shot. That should tell you a little something about the two. 😉 We started out in Newburgh where Stephanie got ready, and then moved to Barnaby’s in New Paltz where they had their ceremony and a nice, intimate reception. The 25′ ceilings there, plus streaming late afternoon light coming in from the huge windows made for an opportunity to create some truly dramatic images! Congrats again, you two!! =)
