Hendrick Moy Photography
When Cory first contacted me about his upcoming wedding way back in May of last year, I was ecstatic as it would be my very first time photographing a wedding at the USMMA in Kings Point, NY (with it’s sensational chapel). If you remember these two from their adorable Newtown, CT engagement session, you’ll also recall how their chemistry was positively glowing. These two were so easy to work with and photogenic, I had the easy job of simply capturing the honest and thoughtful moments of their big day. Both of them got ready for their wedding in Long Island at the quaint Inn at Great Neck, and from the very beginning, Cory had brought Katie to tears with a heartfelt gift of a music box to the tune of a deeply personal song for the two of them. The celebration of their love continued with their wedding ceremony at the sensational United States Merchant Marine Academy Mariners’ chapel, full of natural light and high ceilings, and later moved to Melville Hall where Ambient DJ was dropping the bass for the reception! They ended the night with some pretty sweet evening shots against (appropriately) a beautiful nautical sunset. Special thanks also to Hao for second-shooting and adding some nice images as well. Enjoy the photos, guys!
