Monica and Ben are wonderful. I’ll start with that. Their wedding at the Vintage 1891 Kitchen in Westchester was one of the most unique I’ve ever photographed. Mainly because the bus that was supposed to transfer their guests from their hotel in White Plains to Larchmont, where their ceremony was to take place, actually picked up the wrong group! In over 8 years of shooting, I’ve never experienced that in my life… Thankfully, the timing actually wasn’t too far off and the Vintage 1891 Kitchen staff were tremendous throughout the ordeal. Otherwise, everything else went swimmingly! It has been an extremely long time since I’ve shot a wedding solo, but when Ben and Monica described how their wedding day would go, I couldn’t resist. Passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the night, and a food station, small guest list and no wedding party, made the day flow extremely smoothly and joyfully, with so many lovely moments sprinkled throughout. It obviously helped that both Ben and Monica were so tremendously awesome and easy-going the entire time! Hope you enjoy the wedding photos!
