I don’t often get the chance to shoot smaller celebrations like this, and always relish in the chance to do so! Caixia and Chris already had their actual wedding celebration in Tokyo so that her parents could celebrate, after facing difficulties with travel, but wanted to celebrate with their friends and family here in the states as well! What better place to do so, than the personal touch of Chris’ parents’ lake house in Putnam Valley? Fun fact: their house is actually just a 3 minute drive from my parent’s home as well š It was absolutely the perfect choice, where time could truly be spent with each guest, and folks could catch up, as well as meet new folks! Both engineering professors at Columbia, there were definitely some major scholars in the house (literally). I had such a great time meeting so many genuinely nice people, and listening in on some wildly intelligent conversations, haha. Enjoy the photos!
