When you’ve shot as many weddings as I have, you can tell when some couples just have that sweet aura around them, and it was ever so apparent at Sarah and Al’s Westchester wedding at the Whitby Castle! Personally, I was so psyched that they decided not to postpone due to the coronavirus, so we could finish up 2020 on a high note! It’s always such a joy to shoot for the Esposito family, and seeing some faces I haven’t seen in so many years! From Sarah and Al’s adorable engagement session in Dobbs Ferry last spring, I knew these two would be so much fun, and the day was just a great time throughout.
We started at the Courtyard Marriott in Rye, NY, as the guys and girls got ready in separate rooms and having a blast, before moving on to the grounds of the illustrious Whitby Castle, which has fast become one of my favorite places to shoot in Westchester, meshing old world charm (it is a castle, after all) with modern decor, effortlessly. The staff there is fantastic as well! After Sarah and Al said their, “I do’s”, and headed into the reception, it was just an evening of laughs and tears, but mostly laughs, of course! It was especially hilarious watching their creative guests not-dancing by staying in their chairs during the reception! This was easily the most awesome way to send off 2020!
