As a NJ wedding photographer, what can I say about these two lovebirds (or should I say, “swans”, Adrienne? Haha..), other than simply being around them makes me happy? Their good-natured humor and selfless personalities truly complement each other perfectly. I already knew this from their Asbury Park engagement session earlier this year, but spending the entire day with them, on what is typically one of the most stressful days of one’s life, really helped me appreciate and understand these two newspaper-loving soulmates. Awesome ideas for this inspired wedding also included one shot that Adrienne specifically requested in their hired bus which simulated a well-known scene in a certain Dustin Hoffman movie from 1967 for any of you movie buffs out there! Though the rain changed plans a bit, it never stopped them from enjoying each and every single moment, even though Eric was still recovering from sickness. Adrienne and Eric began their wedding day getting ready at the DoubleTree Hotel in Fort Lee, NJ, where we also had their, “first look”, and then took a few impromptu portraits afterward inside Sugi, the hotel’s Japanese Restaurant (complete with tatami rooms), which was sort of fitting, as the two of them had actually frequented the restaurant previously on a date! I so love these little snippets lining up for my couples! We then moved onto the always-beautiful Waterside Restaurant in North Bergen, NJ for the ceremony and reception, which were full of great moments, including my favorite- Eric dancing with his three daughters, the eldest of which, sang for the two newlyweds. Fun was definitely had by all, evidenced by the rockin guests in the reception images. A special thanks goes out to Haris, as well, for shooting with me yet again! Enjoy the wedding pictures!! It was such a pleasure to be your wedding photographer documenting your big day!
