One of the coolest things about shooting weddings, is that you really get to see how loved some folks are, and that was made so clearly at Carolyn and Chris’ wedding at the ever-fantastic Le Chateau in South Salem, NY. The emotive joy in everyone’s faces truly made our job as photographers easy, starting at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk, CT, all the way ’til the very last dance. I kept saying to my second shooter, Paul (who contributed some terrific images), that this was definitely one of those unicorn “perfect” wedding days, where pretty much everything went right, hence the largest blogpost I’ve made in a very long time! As always, the staff at Le Chateau was sensational, and the fall day couldn’t have been nicer! Definitely a far cry from the eight rainy weekends in a row we’ve had this year, and Carolyn and Chris truly deserved the magnificent weather. You can tell how amazing folks are by the genuine happiness of their guests, and it was absolutely palpable on this day. From the sweet passing glances at each other during those in-between moments, to the beautiful first dance which was unchoreographed, but WOW, so incredibly graceful! Thank you so much to for helping contribute some superb shots as always. It was such a pleasure capturing it all, and we hope you love the photos!
