I’m not sure it gets any “smilier” than this. Ashley and Phil’s face muscles must be the strongest of anyone I know, because the entire 12 hours we were with them, they were grinning from ear to ear, and their joy was as real as it gets! Ashley’s subtle little nose-scrunch was absolutely adorable, and their youthful exuberance was naturally on full display with every photo we took. After shooting their Eolia Park engagement session, I just knew we were in for a treat at their wedding, and what a wedding it was… From the note-for-note Frank Sinatra-like serenades to the Jersey Shore-style dancing toward the end, this entire day was amazing from start to finish. Ashley and her ladies had their bridal prep (and, “first touch” with Phil) at the deliciously quaint Fountain Inn Bed and Breakfast while Phil and his guys prepped at the adjacent also-great West Lane Inn, both in Ridgefield, CT, before moving onto their mass at the beautiful Basilica of St. John in Stamford, CT. After making it official, we took some family and group shots, then headed over for the reception to the historic Le Chateau of South Salem, NY, where the party rocked from grand entrance to sparkler exit! The love in the room between everyone was palpable, and it was just an honor being there, witnessing it all. This was most definitely one of the most memorable, and enjoyable weddings I’ve ever shot at Le Chateau (and I’ve shot many… haha), and Ashley and Phil were easily one of my most chill couples in all 12 years I’ve been photographing weddings. The pictures are magnificent just as your wedding day! A most beautiful bride, a very very handsome groom, the beautiful families and friends This was a celebration that you saw people enjoying every special moment and so happy to be a part of.We can’t forget the ones who weren’t there physically but we felt their presence and knew how proud and happy they are for the both of you. Tell each other I love you at least once a day, be supportive for each other and of course always kiss good night. Love you so so much
