From our first Zoom meeting I knew Catherine and Matthew were absolutely meant for each other. As cliche as it sounds, that takes nothing away from the truth of that statement. Their fun engagement session in Flushing Meadows was just a glimpse into their beautiful wedding at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie, NY, where there personalities shone so incredibly brightly! As always, The Grandview was a phenomenal venue from start to finish, and the staff were fantastic throughout! Catherine got ready in their gorgeous newly-built bridal cottage, looking amazing, thanks to her MUA, Tara Gervacio, while Matthew had his groom prep conveniently 5 minutes away at the nearby Holiday Inn, also in Poughkeepsie. The timing of everything was just perfect, as it drizzled just a tiny bit during the group shots, scaring us into the tent, for just a couple of minutes, then stopped so that we could go back out, and then started up again just as their (uber-sweet) outdoor ceremony ended with the breaking of the Kiddush glass. The reception was highlighted by Cat and Matt’s traditional Korean paebaek ceremony, full of life and color (not to mention the magnificent florals provided by Cherry Brand Designs). The dance floor was then rockin’ thanks to Randoz Events, and set to a glorious 90’s soundtrack that definitely brought on some nostalgic vibes – an incredible way to end the night.
