Sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Due to a family emergency, one of my photographer cohorts could not shoot Kathleen and Scott’s wedding, so I had agreed to cover for her. Truly, it was a gorgeous intimate wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple with which to work. Kathleen and Scott are both incredible, down-to-earth people with epic taste in decor. There were so many items around their apartment and little personal touches everywhere, one couldn’t help but be offered a glimpse into their lives (beakers as vases? so very cool..). Scott even put together the hors d’oeuvres which looked like a gourmet bistro had catered this NYC wedding. Oh, and not to mention the backdrop of their absolutely stunning rooftop view of Manhattan from Roosevelt Island. The last photo is my most favorite bokeh panorama ever! Click on it to enlarge.
