New Mulan Wedding in Queens NY [An + Nick]

All-day torrential rain literally could not stop An and Nick on their big day! Though plans changed a tiny bit, these two were absolute troopers throughout, shrugging it off, and adapting. I don’t often shoot traditional Chinese weddings, but always cherish every chance I get! The banquet food in and of itself, is incentive enough, haha. An and Nick already had their actual nuptials, so this wedding reception was for their New York crew (they’re actually on the west coast now), and it was just a wonderful time, in spite of the nasty weather. They started their day getting ready in the same room at the new Tangram Renaissance Hotel in Flushing, NY. It’s always pretty cool when couples do this, and there’s just something special when bride and grooms physically help each other prepare for their celebration. After arriving at New Mulan Restaurant in Queens, they proceeded to have their tea ceremony, and rocked it out at the reception, which you’ll see below.
